12 inches Bonga elephant single

The Bonga elephants used to be made by tribals in Bankura, and were dedicated to the Santhali deity, Singh Bonga, at a place called Zaher. The unique feature of the elephant is its round shape, nowhere found in other dolls. The unique and lucrative design of the trunk, the exceptional symmetry and minutely created detailed design have made this as one of the exceptional terracotta art form.
